Since its inception, Woodhouse Architecture has strived to consistently provide its clients with personal and original design solutions. Curtis and Marla Woodhouse's combined efforts bring a balance of aesthetic beauty, environmental responsibility, and functional efficiency to the built environments they reshape.
Each project, regardless of scale or type, is an opportunity for the duo to exercise creativity and explore enriching solutions. The cofounders graduated from UCLA Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Planning at the top of their class and have been practicing as licensed architects since 1993. While the two are multifaceted in their talents, Marla has a passion for realizing ideas and Curtis fluently communicates his design concepts visually, through his sketches and renderings.
The principals of Woodhouse Architecture are both licensed architects and they work either individually or as a team as accomplished designers. Curtis Woodhouse has 30 years of experience working as a design consultant for architectural firms, developers and owners visulaizing and conceptually illustraitng projects of varying scales. The projects have ranged from boutique restaurants to conceptual planning of major casinos and entire urban developments. Marla Woodhouse has 30 years of experience as a licensed architect and designer focusing mainly on residential design and commercial interiors. Marla is a problem solver and has designed products and furnishings for the home as well as several entire residences. Marla has also worked on several design-build projects with her father, a licensed General Contractor, and has grown up with construction making her very comfortable with the process. Curtis and Marla as a team bring great value to their projects and extend detailed and personal attention to each. Taking on only a few projects each year allows them to maximize their attention and commitment to all aspects of the work involved.
